The Webo Adventures of Chip and Earth!

***The Beginning*** – Chapter 1.

There they were, sitting alone, shivering on the cold and boring island of Pug Penguin, as little cute penguins. They wanted to have fun! They wanted to feel the air shoot past their flippers! They wanted some action! But nothing…until one clear night. Nothing about that quiet evening suggested that strange things would be happening to our two little lonely penguins! As they were conversing with each other, Chipmunk said, “I can smell adventure in the cold wind of the North! It’s like I can feel the fun we had in the good old days, surfing in the hot summer!” Earthbound replied, “Hmm, me too, awkward isn’t it?” Then suddenly, out of the blues, they heard something…they were not sure, and they looked around. They looked again in front of them and… Ahhh! A tornado! Whoosh, Bam, Boom, Whoosh! They went up and up into the hearth of the tornado, swirling through the misty air. There was one little detail they didn’t know,..It was that the tornado was in fact a portal to another world! The next minute, all they saw was circles and lines, colours and rainbows, squares and triangles and some very weird stuff… Slowly they opened their eyes, as white as ghosts from the startle they had had. It was very warm, and as they smelled deeply, they knew they were some place else. Chip stared and said “Oh My…I don’t believe it!” Then Earth said “Wha!? Chip, we’re not penguins, we’re Pterodactyls!” “Huh?” said Chip, but as he said so, he flicked his hand and went 7 feet up the ground! “See!” Earth replied excitedly. They had landed on an island called Webosaurs Island. “Welcome to Webosaurs Island!” said someone who introduced himself as Rex (Chip had a funny feeling that Rex always arrived late at meetings). They had just realised that they were in the past, 65 million years to be exact. From that moment on, Chip and Earth had forgot about Pug Penguin, and they began a new life, on this exciting new island of Webosaurs, as Pterry’s! (Rex told them that that’s what they call their species informally). They had no clue that this would lead them to great, exhilarating adventures! This was just their beginning…

***Exploring the Island*** – Chapter 2.

Chip and Earth had no idea where to go when they arrived at Webosaurs Island! This was very different from Pug Penguin, and they didn’t know what to do. Luckily, Rex was an expert and knew lots of stuff about the land, and he kindly offered to take Chip and Earth on a tour around this magnificent island! Our two fresh dinos were completely speechless, as they saw breathtaking views one after the other! In Webosaurs Island, different places had different climates! It was like all four seasons combined, not like Pug Penguin, always boring winter, and each place had a funny name, such as ‘Carnivorous Cavern’ or ‘Gushing Geyser’ . Chip had just came to this island, and was already causing trouble…when Rex took them to the main hang-out place, Chipmunk saw a tiny hole in the ground and wanted to check it out. Earth warned him not to go, but Chip, hard-headed as usual, ignored Earth. When he peeped inside the hole, he was lifted up with a tremendous force into the air by a huge geyser! Chip screamed loudly, and suddenly, he was sucked into the hole! “Not again!” he muttered . This time, he only spun for a second, and then banged in a table. He heard the sound of breaking glass. As he came to his senses, he noticed that he had completely broken some science apparatus! “Science equipment was invented 65 million years from Pug Penguin!? He wondered. Lifting his gaze from the floor, another pterodactyl, a litlle bigger then himself, started bellowing like a mad bull at him, and was as angry as Rex when Earth accidentally stepped on his tail! Just then, Earth came flying in from the hole, and bam!…he landed on poor Dr. Nanosaurus, who was the angry pterodactyl barking at Chip. After a few seconds, Rex came, but he landed on a safe spot. He explained how they had discovered a secret lab managed by Dr. Nanosaurus who was a workaholic, always wanting to invent new things! After apologising to Dr. Nanosaurus, Rex took them back to the Geyser where they relaxed as they looked at the smooth water dancing up and down…They did not know that the next day, strange, shocking things were going to happen!…

***Hello…?***-Chapter 3.

Our two little Pterrys were getting used to the island, the funny names and all the other residents. They even got their own caves thanks to Rex. “There is so much more to do here than Pug Penguin! It’s like paradise!” gasped Earth as he sipped some Swamp Juice. Chip replied, “Much more! So much more! Well, there’s so many things to do, what shall we do now?” Earth saw a ball in Chip’s cave, flew over and bounced on it. “Yay! A Ball! Lets play…..Webo Ball!” Earth shouted, as Rex had taught him to play this thrilling game. They kicked! They hit! They punched!They…….Smashed!!! They kicked the ball so hard that it flew out of Chip’s cave and shot right through the small window of Edmarka’s shop! “Oops! I think we’re in hot water!” They both whispered, and went to Hillside Canopy to hihde behind a giant rock. Later on, they went for a relaxing walk in the woods, at Forest floor. There was a sudden rustle in the bushes, something, someone was watching them. “Did you hear that?!” Chip whispered, but Earth was obliviousb to the noise and replied indifferently, “Hear wha…?”, but as he talked, another louderr rustle came from a bush, which was only an inch away from them! “Hello…?” they said timidly, but no one replied. Chip shaked his head in shock but Earth, who thought it was just a helpless insect, ignored him. Suddenly, out of the blues, jumped a fierce creature with gigantic, bloody teeth the size of a skyscraper! They couldn’t see much but they definetely saw that it was dangerous and blood-thirsty! They stood there, rooted to the spot as a chill went down their spine! What was that thing?!?! It was huge! “RUN!!!!!! ” Earth shouted! “No! Fly up there!” Chip suddenly replied, but they were so shocked that they couldn’t flap their wings! They ran and ran with all there might, as far as their tiny legs could get them! They jumped and turned and ran and tried all means necessary to escape but that monstrous thing was gaining on them….They could here the wind rustling through their ears as the terrifying monster’s feet were stepping on the ground, shaking it like there was an earthquake! They sprinted through the woods, but they couldn’t lose that creature…they were going to be its lunch!…

***Help!***-Chapter 4.

“No!” shouted Chip and Earth at the same time as the monster roared as loud as thunder. The giant creature was blue with millions of teeth, each one about as high as Mount Everest! The two little pterrys were ants compared to the enormous size of that thing which was going to eat its lunch very soon. Suddenly, as Chip and Earth were running, Earth slipped on a weed and fell on his little right wing. Chip knew that if he stopped he would be eaten and tore apart in a second, but he wanted to spend his last second of his short dino life with his friend! The monster open its massive mouth and roared! As Chip and Earth closed their eyes and said their last words, the monstrous thing dived into them and…………………….burst out laughing!!! “Is this dino heaven?” Chip asked, but Earth replied, “I don’t know! I’m too scared to open my eyes!” “Don’t be afraid. Come on, open those tiny eyes of yours!” said someone whom they didn’t recognise. As they slowly and cautiously opened their eyes, they saw the same monster which was chasing them a minute ago! But this time, instead of a scary, blood-thirsty look, it had a friendly smile. “I’m Rexxy!”, he said proudly. “I was just playing with you guys. I’m an awesome actor, aren’t I?”, he boasted. “P-p-p-playing?!” said Earth! You nearly scared me to death!” “Sorry, I thought that you were just playing along! By the way, my species is Tyrannosaurus Rex, but for short I call myself a T-Rex! There are several other species on Webosaurs Island.” “Rex could have told us!” wondered Chip, “As soon as I see him I’ll bite his tail!” Rexxy contued, “You must be new since you didn’t know about me. I’m very popular (Chip and Earth look at each other in bewilderment), and I am also…what the fossils are you wearing?!” Rexxy said puzzled. Chip and Earth were still wearing clothes from Pug Penguin, and even though they were small for their size, they didn’t notice. “Come with me, I’ll take you to the armory” offered their new friend. At the Armory, which was at Croc Peninsula, they met another dino, who was called Ole Smithy. He was a Triceratops, and he was also missing a horn. “No one knows who took his horn,” said Rexxy, “everyone thinks it was some kind of Monster Man (xD) , but only we live here, so I don’t know why they say so! Ole Smithy described the different types of armor they could wear, and gave them leather and wood armor for free! After they thanked him and left, Rexxy had to leave, so they ended up alone. “Wow, that was an awkward day!” they both said as they walked through the peninsula. Just then, they saw something pink flash…
