Protectosaur Information!

Here, you will find all the information about Protectors/Protectosaurs/Pros.

Whilst playing Webosaurs, you may have met some dinos having a Protectosaur Badge on their player card. These are the Webosaurs Pros. They help maintain Webosaurs safe, fun and welcoming. They also help new dinos and others who need help.

An example of a Protectosaur:

What does a Protectosaur do?

A Protectosaur has 4 functions! These are:

1) To be friendly and welcoming to new dinos, helping them out whenever possible

2) To set a good example and encourage others to follow the rules

3) To assist the moderators when possible

4) To spot troublemakers and track down the nearest moderator

If you need any help, you can always ask the nearest protectosaur!

How do I become a Protectosaur?

To become a protectosaur, you have to do the above 4 functions continuously on Webosaurs. You have to be an examplary dino, and help whenever possible. It is a high honour being a Pro, and it is an award for fulfilling these functions. A statement which might help you become a Protectosaur is: “If you want to become a Protectosaur, act like a Protectosaur”. By acting like one, you will automatically be setting a good example and fulfilling all the functions. Also, to become a Pro, you also need to send an application on the Webosaurs Blog, as a comment on the Protectosaur Applications Page. Your application layout should be like this:

Name:
Webosaurs Age (Estimate):
Why you think you should be a Protectosaur:
Requirements: Be at least one month old in Webosaurs and have followed and exhibited the functions of a Protectosaur listed above.

Protectosaurs will be chosen every one or two weeks, so keep your hopes high if you’re not chosen on a certain day. Always continue acting like a Protectosaur and you will manage!

You should NEVER beg or whine to become a Pro, and neither ask a Moderator to make you one. This will simply decrease your chance of becoming one.

Further information:

There are also protectosaur meetings, once a week, on Tuesday. Usually, there are 2 meeting, one for those living in Europe, and one for those in America. In protectosaur meetings, several topics are discussed, and pros are given certain tips on how to help more. A pro is not required to attend, but these meetings are the best way to keep updated.

I didn’t send an application, the Webosaurs mods chose me. You should send the post on the Protectosaur Applications page. You can go to my page and click it from there.
